Rain Shadow Book 5 is the final installment in the Barringer Brothers series, you'll have to read the other four books before you pick this one up but they are totally worth it! This review is going to be a little on the short side, while I could go on and on about how amazing the conclusion to Luke and Angel's story is I don't want to ruin anything, just go read it!
I've enjoyed this entire series from the moment Angel found Luke in the desert to the very last page I've been hooked! After book 4 I knew this book was going to reveal some crazy twists but I was in for an even bigger shock than I ever imagined. This book was a wild ride to put it mildly. Poor Angel really just can't catch a break, her grandfather is still a total psychopath and he won't give up on getting her back. She goes through something I can't even imagine and it was a total shock, I never would have imagined the situation turning out the way it did!! Luke is still over protective although it turns out he was right to be so nervous all the time, he was so in love with her and was the only one that really understood how dangerous Dreygon really was. Their relationship is still hot as hell and full of passion but this book adds another dimension, Luke and Angel were truly destined to be together. This book answers all the questions you may have had about the two of them and ties everything up in a perfect package.
Tess Oliver has a brilliant mind, when I read the first book I could never have imagined how the plot would have developed. It seemed so simple and straightforward in the beginning but it was detailed and complex! Her characters are all amazing and easy to relate to even though they have lived a life I could never imagine. This entire series was captivating but this book was especially addictive and the ending was absolutely perfect! While this book concludes the story of Luke and Angel we still get more Barringer brothers and Gage's book is next!

Violence: Some, not too graphic tho
