At The Truth About Fiction Book Blog we review whatever we happen to be reading at the time.  Most of the books we review are ones that have ended up on our TBR list from the recommendation of other one clickers.  While everyone has their favorite authors and genres we pride ourselves on the fact that we do no discriminate.  Jaymee and I will read anything as long as the synopsis catches our interest.  All of our reviews are done for free!  We do not receive anything for them (no paycheck, gifts or favors) except the pure satisfaction of sharing our honest opinion with our fellow book lovers.  No matter where the book comes from, that does not in any way sway our opinion as integrity in our reviews is very important to us. 

Our Rating System..

We have taken the standard star rating system and spiced it up a bit.  While the book will still get an Overall Rating, we also rate our books on the following categories:

• Storyline
• Female Characters
• Male Characters
• Author's Writing Style
• Plot Twists
• Laugh Factor
• Cry Factor
• Steam Factor
• Violence

This way, we will be able to let the fans know if that book fits their reading profile without giving away any spoilers.  WE DO NOT DO SPOILERS AT THE TRUTH ABOUT FICTION BOOK BLOG!!

ARCs (Advanced Release Copy)

We are always honored to receive ARCs.  We realize that author's pour their heart and souls into their work and we will always protect these very precious gifts as if they were our children.  ARCs are never lent, shared or sold.  Any ARC review will be marked as such and will be given an honest review.  Again, they will not receive any special treatment because they were given instead of purchased.
