The Diary of Bink Cummings by none other than Bink Cummings was one kick ass book. I mean, come on... She let us read her diary... She gave us an inside look on her deepest, darkest secrets. Bink let us laugh and cry with her. She let us root for her and through her writing made us fall in love with her.
I jumped off the MC bandwagon awhile back because they all started to become so repetitive but this book... this book is different. It may be because Bink is a real person, sharing some of her real experiences. When I saw the sign up for an opportunity to read and review her book I was intrigued. I mean, seriously, we all want to know what being an MC queen is really like. I know she said this book is loosely based on her life but as far as I am concerned she is one bad ass motorcycle riding, strong willed, take no bull shit chick.
I loved the bond between Bink and the brother of the Sacred Sinners. You could tell by their words and actions that they truly cared about her well being. And Bink's relationship with Big.... Well, as confusing and sexually charged as it was- there was something almost sweet about it. I can not wait to see what happens next.
I love how this book was written. It was raw and you could feel Bink's emotions spilling from the pages. I am sure that this book was a great form of therapy even though sharing her story with the world was probably the hardest thing ever. Thank you for sharing your life with us Bink. You are a rock star in my book. Now hurry up February... I need more Big..
